Feel free to give us a call, email, or message at any time, or simply stop by and see our goats in person. Our door is always open! Our passion is getting people started with affordable South African Savanna goats!

We value your business and your opinion of our goats and operation.

Diamond Savanna Ranch reserves the right to retain any animal for our program. Sales at this time are on a first come, first serve basis.

 

Purchasing a Goat

We reserve the right to refuse a sale.

We accept cash, cashier’s checks and money orders payable to Stearns Ranch.

We do require a deposit of $200 on our registered stock to hold your desired purchase for you and a 25% deposit on group purchases. Deposits are nonrefundable. The goat/s will not be released to the purchaser until payment is made, in full.

Your deposit goes toward the purchase price of your goat.

 

Holding your goat

Diamond Savanna Ranch will hold your goat for up to two weeks free of charge. After two weeks if your goat is not picked up a charge of $1.50 per day will be needed.

We highly recommend you secure transportation for you goat(s) before purchase. We do offer delivery for a fee if that is your desire. We understand wanting to meet the person you are doing business with and would love the opportunity to see where your goat(s) is going to be living!

We are not responsible for the animal(s) after it’s removed from our ranch.

 

Registration

Our savanna goats are registered with Pedigree International. Upon your purchase WE take care of the registration of your goat(s).

 

DNA

All of our Full blood Savanna goats are DNA verified. Therefore, our kids are all eligible to be PARENT Verified though UC Davis.

Pedigree International does not require DNA testing.

Also, if you are purchasing a DNA verified goat, we take care of that expense as well, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Guarantee’s

We guarantee goats are sold in good health with a vet check (leaving the state, when requested) and sound conformation. Since many factors, such as nutrition, determine the growth and maturity of an animal, Diamond Savanna Ranch does NOT guarantee the growth or quality of the animal once it leaves our ranch. Goats are sold AS IS. We do want our buyers to be pleased with their purchase, so please contact us if you have any questions or problems. We are always willing to help if we can!

Goats being sold as breeding stock come with a one-year breeding guarantee. If the animal does not breed and is proven unfit to breed by a Licensed Veterinarian (DMV) with a written letter indicating a congenital defect as the cause of infertility, at the buyer’s expense. Then Diamond Savanna Ranch will replace your purchased goat for another of similar breeding as soon as possible. Buyer must return the unfit animal to Diamond Savanna Ranch at their expense before any exchange will be made.
